The Crabs in the Cold War

Gents, There is a free course run By Holloway University in conjunction with the RAF Museum entitled, "From World War to White Heat: the RAF in the Cold War" . Not ACG's period I know but I suspect many on here would like to know more about what the Crabs were up to and why during the period after W...

Re: Ts asking for pw

Wotcha, Scotty7/Sanning, if you are who I think you are then I have seen you around on Danger Dogs and you do well enough against the 109s, better than me anyway, and you mustn't mind get shot down - some of the human 109 pilots are deadly, plus it is a kindness to let Kildren shoot you down a few t...

Re: This new Forum Host is Awful!

All very good but forum performance is still shit. "Waiting for AirCombatGroup.co.uk..." is till a regular feature on my screen. My network connection is fine, I can look at other sites without problem, I can play the game on multiplayer servers without lag but when I try and do anything on this for...

Re: Hello all - potential new pilot making contact

"I quite like the idea of a geriatric squadron - somewhere to put us older ACGers ...." I did suggest some months ago that ACG should form the 69 "Saga" Squadron (69 for the average age of its pilots, not any smutty stuff that Kildren will instantly think of). However, that idea fell through because...

Re: This new Forum Host is Awful!

Fair go, Pitti, and tea has been consumed. I shall await the return to something like acceptable service, but what we have got currently is a long way from that.

This new Forum Host is Awful!

Dicke & Co. FFs I don't mind a joke but this new forum provider moves beyond the ground of acceptable service. It has taken me more than two hours to be able to reply to a post by another contributor and a PM I wanted to send to Dickie earlier this afternoon never went because the wretched forum kep...

Re: The Siege of Calais

Mr. Boyezee, my tongue was firmly in cheek when I posted my "complaint" as I hoped would have been obvious (I did mention Kildren after all). Yes of course it was an accidental collision and a pisser for both of us as neither of us wanted to end our mission in that way.

Re: The Siege of Calais

Oi! Mr. Boyzee, what with this, "I have just been rammed by a Spitfire" nonsense? You rammed me and, to add insult to injury, you survived whilst I died in a horrible ball of fire. That collision was not of my making and certainly was not sought by me. I don't mind being shot down (just ask Kildren)...

Re: Hello all - potential new pilot making contact

Lofty, If you can get on to the game at lunchtime/early afternoon during the week then on the Danger Dogs server you will find a bunch of ACG pilots flying and practicing for the fun of the thing in a very relaxed manner. Some of us are new and not very good pilots but there are also some grown-ups ...

More from the Archives - 32 Sqdn in the Battle of France

I was going to pst this in the 32 Squadron section of the forum but even going in there felt too dreadful besides some others might be interested in combat in France in May 1940. https://www.scribd.com/doc/298258449/Tales-of-32-Squadron-in-the-Battle-of-France As ever, any and all feedback will be g...
