Yet again I have to report that a captain of 29, Robert 'Pariah' Chandler, has died whilst attacking an enemy balloon. Not from ground fire, who from any action by the dirigible but by his own stupidity. Flying too close the airman caught the ropes tying the craft to the ground. This damaged his wings and from 4,000 feet he was never making it to the ground unscathed.

Jammy claims the balloon.

This action was flown by Pariah, Jammy, Broadsword and Nev.
Not again.... :)

A nice early patrol mission. New Captain Richard 'Pariah' Smith was in charge. No enemy aircraft spotted but a pesky balloon taken care of. 2nd Lt Emmett 'Bully' Oliver claims his first Drachen.

Flown by Pariah, Secu, Broadsword, Bully, Bunny and Jammy.

A fine meal was had in celebration of the military cross awarded to Lt Craig 'Jammy' Bingham.

This was an intercept mission. Some DFWs were spotted heading east and we had to catch them. This is easier said than done. We found them, Bunny and Pariah dove in on the attack but compromised the integrity of the DH2 wings by doing so. Bunny crashed and survived but Pariah was killed. Secu was lightly wounded and landed in a field when his engine cut out. Broadsword, Bully and Jammy made it back to base I believe.

New Captain Charile 'Pariah' Bridlington was in charge of 29 and led them on a patrol across the German lines. Pariah took out a balloon and made it safely back with the rest of his squadron.

29 were sent up to defend a balloon. As we took off we came across two Eindeckers that decided to go for us and not the balloons. After a short fight Bunny and Broadsword claimed an Eindecker each.

Unfortunately Pariah collided with one of the Eindeckers and met his end.

A slightly later patrol this time as new Captain Bob 'Pariah' One Eyed O'Brian took charge of 29.

It was a standard patrol mission. Headed across and then north along the German side of the lines. We took a slight detour to tackle a balloon and it was Bunny that claims the kill.

Flown by Pariah, Broadsword, Bully, Bunny and Nev.

Apologies for failing to notify of my absence yesterday. I quite frankly forgot it was Monday and instead spent my evening watching an Oblivion LP on YT

P.S Another aerial ram Pariah? Are you sure you're not just doing it on purpose now, I mean come on!
