For any one who wants it i have made a skin for the dh82a with all the individual parts colour coded to make it easier to know what your painting if you want it it's in the link below, it's not perfect but it's a good start.

In support of Gingers' work above (and great idea) included please find a link of supplemental graphic content I hope will prove useful to somebody."

This zip file contains data files stored in an uncompressed zip file format. Each of these files was generated from the original IL2 CLOD skin named Fancy_Blue. Included is an Ambient Occlusion map, a Height map, a Metallic map, a Normal map and a Roughness map. The file names describe clearly which is which.
In case you need to know what tool was used; it was Allegorithmics' BitMap2Material. No tweaks were applied. The original skin was dropped into the tool and then the generated maps were exported. All of the rocket science was performed under the hood using installation defaults.
If anybody finds this stuff useful please PM me and let me know.
Also take note that the data file will only be accessible up to December 13th, 2015 inclusive.

Well, I am no gentleman, everybody who ever spoke with me can vouch for that, however on the night of December 13th I would like to join your jolly trip just to fly these ten Gentlemen around:
Hope you don't mind.

I'm getting there...
I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.
