Mission briefing for LW - 15th September - Battle of Britain day Pt 1 (1940-09-15 10:30:00), ACG-Campaign "Battle of Britain", mission date: 2018-06-03.

Situation

Gentleman, today is the big day! We will be hitting the enemy with wave after wave of large raids to finally crush the RAF.
We will be flying high alt to ensure that the RAF will be forced in a poor situation when attempting to intercept us, take advantage of this situation and deliver them their final blows.

The weather is forecast as clear skies with no cloud.

Assignments


Shift 1:

Take off at 10.30

Stab/JG26, 6./ZG76, 6./JG26, 8./JG26, 9./JG26

RV with the bombers over Calais, 10.55hrs at 7500m.

You will then escort them as they attack targets in the Chelsea area of London, the bombers will be taking a direct course from Calais to the target – TOT is 11.25hrs.


Shift 2:

Take off at 10.30

1./JG26, 4./JG26, 5./JG26, 7./JG26

RV with the bombers over Calais, 10.55hrs at 7500m.

You will then escort them as they attack targets in the Shoreditch area of London, the bombers will be taking a direct course from Calais to the target – TOT is 11.22hrs.
